A walk in the wind

8-16-2011  A walk in the wind

As the oncoming train approaches,

The searing pitch of the metals of the rail whine higher, down through the middle of this once small town,

The chatter and the traffic come to a stop,as the deafening horns blast for miles,

Farther away  I walk through the park,Northern winds curls my hair around my face

,As I wish I had bundled myself for the occasion, which crossed my mind momentarily,

Swaying the swings, the wind blows briskly, causing the the ball to tether and tall trees to bend,

The swirling of leaves come in waves, the way the rain did the other of these days,

Scents of Winters first burning fireplaces adore my nose which is cold to the tip,

In my mind I hear the crackle and see a yellow dancing flame with a cindering red glow,in my mind, in my home

I can’t wait ,I will be warm, standing there brushing off the cold,
